Kolawole Lawal

Kolawole Lawal has a comprehensive work experience spanning over a decade. kolawole started their career as a Sale and Marketing representative at Industrial and General Insurance Plc in April 2007. kolawole then moved on to United Bank for Africa in January 2008, where they held the position of Relationship Manager for almost six years. At UBA, they played a crucial role in M&A activities, syndicated loans for oil and gas clients, and analyzing credit data for risk assessment. In 2013, they joined Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc, where they initially worked as a Treasury Analyst. Later, they progressed to the role of Corporate Finance Analyst and eventually became a Senior Analyst in Corporate Finance, a position they currently hold since January 2020.

Kolawole Lawal holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from Obafemi Awolowo University from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, Lawal completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics also at Obafemi Awolowo University. In terms of professional certifications, Lawal is a Level 2 candidate in the CFA program from the CFA Institute, which they started in 2019 and is currently pursuing. Additionally, Lawal has advanced their expertise in Finance through an Advance Financial Modeler program from the Financial Modeling Institute.
