Obux Kagho's work experience began in 2007 with an industrial training at Western African Well Services (WEAFRI). Kagho then worked as a Laboratory Technician at Geo Fluids from February to May 2009. In December 2010, Kagho joined Sea Petroleum and Gas as a Graduate Assistant to the Engineering Department until October 2011. Kagho then joined SEPLAT in July 2012 as a Production Operator, responsible for monitoring and operating the Flow station of Crude Production activities. In April 2014, Kagho was promoted to the role of Production Engineer at SEPLAT, where they supervised daily operations of oil and gas processing facilities, monitored daily crude oil and gas production, and optimized process parameters.
Obux Kagho, MNSE, COREN completed a Postgraduate Degree in Business statistics and Data analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business between 2021 and 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin, spanning from 2003 to 2008.
