Production Operations And Asset Accountant at Seplat Energy

Oludayo Sodipo has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Oludayo started their career at GTBank as an Account Officer, where they focused on mobilizing low-cost and purchased funds from customers, opening accounts, and following up on customer transactions. After seven years at GTBank, Oludayo joined Atlantic Energy Drilling Concept Nigeria Limited as a Finance Officer and Assistant Joint Venture Accountant. In this role, they performed tasks such as payment runs, invoice submission, cost allocation, tax calculations, invoice registration, reconciliation, financial statement analysis, revenue recognition, and participation in statutory audits. Following their time at Atlantic Energy, Oludayo joined ERDIS Nigeria Limited as a Cost Control and Project Monitoring Officer, where they provided financial support to various departments, challenged functional managers on financial matters, contributed to the development of management information systems, and tracked and monitored project costs. Currently, Oludayo works at Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc, initially as a Well Cost Accountant, responsible for cash call requests, budget and performance defense meetings, AFE preparation, and well cost accruals. Oludayo is currently working as a Production Operations and Asset Accountant, involved in inventory monitoring, reconciliation, recording, classification, stock accounting, and quarterly inventory counts.

Oludayo Sodipo attended the University of Lagos from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Banking and Financial Support Services.
