Byran Fuhrmann

Byran Fuhrmann is an experienced aquatic scientist currently serving as the lead scientific advisor for lake restoration projects in the EutroPHIX Division at SePRO Corporation, where the focus is on nutrient management and geochemistry. Byran has also held roles as an Aquatic Technology Development Scientist, developing patented water quality products aimed at phosphorus removal. Leadership experience includes serving as President, President Elect, and Northern California Director for the California Lake Management Society. Academic experience encompasses teaching as an instructor at UC Merced for an environmental engineering course and previous roles as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant. Prior to these positions, Byran managed quality assurance at North Coast Laboratories, overseeing ELAP certification and EPA compliance audits. Educational credentials include a PhD in Environmental Systems from the University of California, Merced, an MBA from Humboldt State University, a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida, and a BS in Chemistry from Humboldt State University.
