Vince Edwards

Vince Edwards has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, spanning over several decades. Vince started their career as an Engineer Cadet at the Civil Aviation Authority in 1982 before moving on to become an Air Traffic Engineer Grade 2 at NATS (National Air Traffic Services) in 1984. In 1991, they joined Tait Mobile Radio as a Systems Engineer and later became a Technical Sales Manager. After spending time at Dolphin Telecom as a Senior Regional Engineer, they returned to Tait Radio Communications in 2001, where they held both Senior Systems Engineer and Sales Engineer positions until 2014. Following that, they worked as a System Sales Engineer at Hytera Communications UK from 2014 to 2015. Since 2015, Vince has been working at Sepura as a DMR Systems Engineer and currently holds the role of Sales Engineer. In their previous positions, they have demonstrated skills in pre-sales activities such as writing technical responses to tenders, presenting to customers, and generating proposals and quotations.

Vince Edwards pursued their education in a chronological manner. In the years 1982 to 1984, they attended Wolverton College/CTE Bletchley Park, where they earned an OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in Communications & Aerospace Engineering. Following this, from 1985 to 1986, they enrolled at Brighton Technical College, where they obtained an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics.

In addition to their formal education, Vince Edwards obtained a certification as a TAP (Training Accreditation Programme) Certified L&D (Learning & Development) Professional. Vince completed this certification in December 2015 through TAP Training, an institution dedicated to training accreditation.
