Jean-Marc Holder has over thirty years of experience in the technology industry. From 1987 to 2002, they worked at Apple Computer Europe, where they held the roles of High Volume Products Line Manager, Europe and Technical Markets Manager. In 2002, they moved to PalmSource EMEA as Director of Marketing. In 2006, they founded Digibonus, a consumer brand engagement platform, and also founded LiPS Forum, an industry association to promote open-source Linux software on mobile phones, where they served as Founding Treasurer and Head of Marketing. From 2016 to present, they have been a member of the founding team of SeqOne, a genomic data analysis platform for clinical environments, where they are currently the Chief Operating Officer and a Strategic Advisor.

Jean-Marc Holder's education history consists of four distinct educational experiences. Jean-Marc began their studies in 1974 at St Mary's, where they completed A levels. Jean-Marc then moved to McGill University in 1981, where they studied Engineering until 1983. Jean-Marc then transferred to the University of Michigan, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in 1985. Jean-Marc continued their studies at the University of Michigan until 1987, when they graduated with a Graduate Business degree.
