Oliver Dr. Gödje, MD, PhD, A.Prof, FCCP has extensive work experience in the medical industry. Oliver currently serves as the CMO (Chief Medical Officer) at Sequana Medical NV since May 2020.

Prior to their current role, they worked as a Restructuring Advisor at GRA - Global Restructuring Advisors, providing guidance to Med-Tech companies to overcome obstacles and restructure their operations for success. Oliver started this role in 2010.

In 2011, Oliver became the Geschäftsführer at Medical Device Industry Consulting, offering support and consultancy services in all aspects of Medical Devices, including R&D, Clinical Studies, Marketing, and Sales. Oliver built a strong network of international opinion leaders specializing in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, Cardiac, and Cosmetic Surgery.

From 2018 to 2020, Oliver held the position of Senior Medical Advisor and later became the CMO at Humedics GmbH. Oliver contributed to the introduction of innovative medical products and supervised the sales and marketing activities, brand management, and website appearance.

From 2015 to 2018, Oliver served as the Director of Sales and Marketing and Medical Director at Hepa Wash GmbH, where they successfully established a sales and marketing team, implemented intelligent sales strategies, and developed a strong network of key opinion leaders.

In 2010, Oliver worked as a Restructuring Advisor at Tensys Medical, where they managed and restructured the company, streamlined processes, launched new products, and supported the trade sale from the USA to China.

From 2001 to 2010, Oliver held multiple roles at PULSION Medical Systems AG, including Director of Business Unit Perfusion, Medical Director, and Director of Global Marketing. Oliver contributed to the growth and success of the company in various capacities.

Oliver's earlier work experience includes serving as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Ulm from 1998 to 2001 and working as a Staff Cardiac Surgeon at Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich from 1992 to 1998. Oliver started their medical career as a Resident in Internal Medicine at Kreiskrankenhaus Garmisch from 1990 to 1991.

Oliver Dr. Gödje, MD, PhD, A.Prof, FCCP began their education journey in 1983 at the Technical University of Munich. From 1983 to 1989, they pursued a degree in Medizin and successfully completed their studies, obtaining an Approbation.
