Shyam Lonikar

Shyam Lonikar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and compliance. Shyam currently works as the QA Head - GM at Sequent Scientific Limited since May 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Novartis, starting as a Quality Assurance Manager in November 2015 and eventually becoming a Senior Quality Assurance Manager until May 2023. At Novartis, they were responsible for external supplier qualification, audit and compliance, contract manufacture site compliance, quality system management, quality risk management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Before joining Novartis, Shyam Lonikar worked as a Manager - Pharma QA (Compliance) at AMRI, a Manager at Aurobindo Pharma handling audit and compliance activities, an Assistant Manager QA at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and an Executive - Site QA at LUPIN LIMITED. Shyam also held positions at Jubilant Organosya as a Senior Officer in API Plant QA, at Dr. Reddy's Custom Pharma Services as a QA Officer, and at Orchid Pharma as an Officer.

Throughout their career, Shyam Lonikar has demonstrated expertise in quality management systems, audit and compliance, regulatory compliance, quality risk management, and conducting audits for both internal and external stakeholders.

Shyam Lonikar earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Shyam then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in General Chemistry from the same university. Additionally, Shyam has certifications as an Approved Internal GMP Auditor from Interteck System in Mumbai and has received the Hatts of Award for Quality and Organization values from Novartis.
