Joseph Liu

Joseph Liu serves as Managing Director at Sequoia Capital China since November 2021, following a role as Vice President at Warburg Pincus LLC from May 2017 to November 2021. Prior to this, Joseph Liu worked at Morgan Stanley in various capacities, including Real Estate Investing and Investment Banking from July 2012 to April 2017, contributing to notable transactions such as the Cheetah Mobile US IPO and acquisitions involving Tsinghua Unigroup and Spreadtrum. Early experience includes summer analyst positions at Morgan Stanley and Cowen and Company, where Joseph Liu was involved in IPO preparations. A graduate of Peking University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Guanghua School of Management, Joseph Liu's academic background includes attendance at The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China.
