Bob Cole

Bob Cole has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bob most recently served as the Director of Finance and Operations at Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project, Inc. (SERCAP) starting in November 2014. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, they were the Managing Director at Financial Designers LLC, specializing in financial design and cash flow measurement. In 2012, they founded and served as the President of eCycling Partners of the Blue Ridge LLC until 2014. Bob also worked as an Interim Controller and Consultant at Modea in 2011, a Consultant at Western Virginia Workforce Development Board in 2010, and a Contractor at Optical Cable Corporation in early 2010. From 2008 to 2009, they were the Director of Finance and Administration at DePaul Community Resources, where they developed a financial management system and managed financial operations and facilities. From 2005 to 2007, they served as the Director of Finance at The Egg Factory, LLC, overseeing financial functions for multiple companies, creating business models, and maintaining ownership records. Bob also had experience as the Director of Finance at PixelOptics, Inc. from 2006 to 2007. In 2003, they were the Controller at MBH Solutions, Inc., successfully managing a cash conservation program in a distressed professional services firm which eventually underwent a national firm buyout in 2008.

Bob Cole's education history begins in 1970 when they enrolled at Penn State University. Bob pursued a degree in Accounting and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in 1974. Afterward, in 1979, Bob decided to further their education by pursuing an MBA at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Bob completed their MBA in 1981. Lastly, in 1990, Bob attended the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where they focused on the Management of Technology field of study for a year.
