Kyle Barlow

Kyle Barlow has worked in various maritime roles, starting as an Engine Cadet at Maersk Group from 2011 to 2014. Kyle then served as a 3rd Engineer Officer at Maersk Supply Service from 2014 to 2015 and at Windstar Cruises from 2015 to 2016. Kyle later joined Serco as a Fleet Engineer in 2016 and is currently employed as a Coastguard Rescue Officer at HM Coastguard since 2019.

Kyle Barlow has a degree in Engineering EKs from City of Glasgow College, which they obtained in 2018. Prior to that, they completed their HND in Marine Engineering at Warsash Maritime Academy between 2011 and 2014. Kyle also holds certifications including Second Engineer Unlimited STCW 111/2 from the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency, obtained in 2019, and EOOW Unlimited STCW 111/1, obtained in 2014.
