Shiwanthie Wijesuriya

Shiwanthie Wijesuriya has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Shiwanthie is currently working as an Associate Director at Serendib Flour Mills (Pvt) Ltd and as a People Partner at Al Ghurair Investment since 2022.

In the past, they held the position of a Senior Human Resources Manager at Rocell from 2018 to 2022. Shiwanthie also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (IPM) from 2017 onwards and at the Human Resource Management Institute - Colombo - Sri Lanka from 2016 to 2022.

Prior to that, they served as a Human Resources Manager at ikman.lk from 2015 to 2018 and as a Group Manager - Human Resources at WNS from 2012 to 2015. Shiwanthie was also a Human Resource Manager at ZILLIONe for a brief period in 2012 and an HR & Operations Manager at Embla Software Innovation (Pvt) Ltd from 2010 to 2012.

Shiwanthie'searliest work experience was as an HR Manager at BT Options pvt Ltd from 2006 to 2010. Overall, Shiwanthie Wijesuriya has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of human resources through their various roles and experiences.

Shiwanthie Wijesuriya has a diverse educational background. Shiwanthie obtained their Master's degree in Psychology with a focus on Clinical, Counseling, and Applied Psychology from the University of Northampton between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2010 to 2012. In 2008, they completed a PQHRM degree in HR from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). Shiwanthie'sundergraduate education involved a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from the University of Peradeniya, which they earned between 2000 and 2003. Additionally, Shiwanthie Wijesuriya holds a certification as a Chartered Manager from the Chartered Management Institute in the UK, which they obtained in November 2019.
