Solomon Njonjo is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Finance Officer and Co-CEO at Serengeti Energy since October 2021, Solomon has previously held key positions including Finance Director at responsAbility Renewable Energy Holding from March 2019 to October 2021 and Head of Finance and Asset Management for Sub Sahara Africa. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Finance for Sub Sahara Africa at responsAbility Renewable Energy Holdings, Finance Director at responsAbility Investment AG, and Chief Financial Officer for Kinangop Wind Park. Solomon's early career included positions at Aggreko International Projects Ltd and as a Finance Manager in East Africa. An accomplished academic, Solomon holds an MBA specializing in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and is a Certified Public Accountant from Strathmore College.
