Kara Ford

Kara Ford has extensive work experience in the field of research and molecular technologies. Kara is currently a Principal Research Associate in Molecular Technologies at Seres Therapeutics, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Research Associate in Molecular Technologies at the same company starting from January 2020. Before joining Seres Therapeutics, Kara was a Senior Research Associate in Discovery Biology at LogicBio Therapeutics from September 2018 to January 2020. Kara also served as a Senior Research Associate in Biological Vector Development at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. from August 2017 to September 2018. Kara has a strong academic background, having worked as a Masters student at Brown University's Cardiovascular Research Center from August 2015 to May 2017. Kara also gained research experience as a contractor at MITRE from January 2015 to June 2015, a volunteer student in research at UMass Medical School from June 2014 to August 2014, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from August 2013 to May 2014. Kara started their research journey as a Visiting Student in Research at Yale University from May 2011 to July 2013.

Kara Ford pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech between 2012 and 2014. Following this, they went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from Brown University from 2015 to 2017.
