Ravi Vaidyanathan

Ravi Vaidyanathan's work experience includes serving as a Professor (Chair) in Biomechatronics at Imperial College London since 2011. Ravi is also a Co-Founder and Director of Research at Serg Technologies, a deep tech company focused on revolutionizing human to machine interface in the healthcare field. Additionally, Ravi has been an Advisory Board Member at Emotix, a consumer robotics company, since 2018. Ravi is the Co-Founder and Director of Research at Athletec Ltd., a venture specializing in innovation in human tracking in combat sports. Ravi has also held various academic positions such as Adjunct Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University, Overseas Professor at Anna University, Research Professor in Systems Engineering at Naval Postgraduate School, and Senior Research Fellow in Neural Engineering at the University of Southampton. Furthermore, they have been a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Bristol Robotics Laboratory. Ravi was also the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of BioRobots, Ltd from 2003 to 2009.

Ravi Vaidyanathan has a Ph.D. in Bioinspired Systems from Case Western Reserve University. Ravi also holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Robotics and Control from the same institution. Prior to their higher education, Ravi Vaidyanathan obtained a High School Diploma from Springville Griffith Institute.
