Siti Rohani Ahmad has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Siti rohani worked as a Senior HR consultant for a freelance HR consulting and training company starting from 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur from 2013 onwards. Siti rohani also held a similar position at Sunway Hotels & Resorts, where they opened the Sunway Banjaran Resort and was responsible for HR in the northern region. Before that, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts from 1999 to 2008. Their earlier experience includes being a Senior Executive Human Resources at Triumph International, where they set up and led a satellite company and managed a significant number of staff and employees. Siti rohani started their career as a Personnel Assistant at CIMB, formerly known as BHL, where they assisted in various HR functions, including collective bargaining.
Siti Rohani Ahmad's education history includes various degrees and certifications. In 2005, they obtained a Cornell Certification in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. After that, they attended Universiti Teknologi MARA and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Assistant and Secretarial Science, General. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Portsmouth.
In addition to their degrees, Siti Rohani Ahmad has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became a Certified Hospitality Trainer from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation and also became a Panel Industrial Court member under the Ministry of Human Resources. In 2013, they earned the PSMB Trainer certification from HRDF - Human Resources Development Fund Malaysia. Furthermore, in 2006, they achieved the Certified Human Resources Executive designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Siti rohani also completed the Leadership Foundation Skills DDI program from Development Dimension Int in the same year. Lastly, in 1983, they became a life member of MIHRM (Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management).
