Minlu Zhang

Minlu Zhang has worked in the field of bioinformatics and data science since 2007. Minlu began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, followed by a Graduate Research Assistant position at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. In 2012, they joined NextBio as a Bioinformatics Scientist and Senior Bioinformatics Scientist. In 2014, they moved to Illumina as a Bioinformatics Scientist 2, Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, and Manager of Bioinformatics. In 2016, they became an Editorial Board Member of BMC BioData Mining at Springer Nature. Finally, in 2019, they joined Serimmune Inc. as an Associate Director and Senior Manager of Bioinformatics and Data Science.

Minlu Zhang has a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
