Ben Jefferies

Ben Jefferies has a diverse work experience in software engineering and devops roles. Ben is currently working as a Contract Software Engineer at Sero, where they are involved in building an IoT platform for managing telemetry data and optimizing house control. Prior to that, they worked at Balu Technologies as a Software/DevOps Engineer.

In 2015, Ben took on the role of Director at ECHOSOFT CONSULTANCY LTD. Ben also worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Yoello, developing a financial payment app using Serverless and AWS stack.

Ben's experience also includes working as a Contract DevOps Engineer at Moneyhub Enterprise, where they migrated infrastructure to Kubernetes and implemented best practices. Ben was a Contract Open Banking Engineer at ForgeRock, contributing to the reference sandbox implementation for Open Banking.

Ben has also worked at the Office for National Statistics and the Royal Bank of Scotland, where they worked on projects related to survey applications, corporate and private banking platform, and microservice architecture. Additionally, they worked at UKHO as a Contract Big Data Engineer, contributing to a project that involved analyzing terabytes of sensory and geospatial data.

Ben Jefferies attended Henbury Secondary School from 2004 to 2009. Afterward, they enrolled at City of Bristol College from 2009 to 2011. During their education, Ben obtained a certification as a Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems in May 2013.
