Dr. Santosh Narwade

Dr. Santosh Narwade is a seasoned scientist and alliance manager at Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. since July 2017, where contributions include the clinical development of multiple vaccines, including COVISHIELD, and the design and implementation of single-use systems. Prior experience includes serving as an ICMR Senior Research Fellow at the University of Pune, focusing on DNA methylation and REM sleep's role in memory consolidation, and earlier roles at Gennova Biopharmaceuticals and the National AIDS Research Institute, where significant work involved HPV and malaria vaccine development as well as anti-retroviral microbicide research. Dr. Narwade holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Pune, further bolstered by a Master of Science in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Zoology, and Chemistry.
