James Marcey has extensive work experience in various roles. James served as the Vice President of Web Operations and E-commerce at SCI Direct, where they were responsible for driving digital innovation and increasing operational efficiency. Their responsibilities included managing digital operations, UX flows, tech design and development, online payment operations, and brand oversight. James also handled vendor procurement, server and IT infrastructure, solution integrations, research, cost evaluation, QA, training, and compliance.
Prior to that, James Marcey worked as a Principal at JLM Systems, Inc. for over 12 years. James was also the Director of Marketing and Senior Web Administrator at University General Hospital, where they played a key role in launching a new weight-loss specialty hospital. James collaborated with physicians for the filming of the A&E show "BIG Medicine" and "My 600lb Life" at the hospital. James had experience working with critical healthcare regulations such as PHI, JCAHO, STARK, HIPAA, and others.
Earlier in their career, they worked as a Creative Director at mValue and as the Director of Production at Lois/EJL Advertising.
James Marcey completed their MBA in Global Business Marketing from American InterContinental University in the year 2010. Prior to that, they pursued Business Finance at the University of Houston-Clear Lake in the year 2008. James also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems, which they obtained from the University of Phoenix between 2002 and 2005.
In addition to their formal education, James Marcey has obtained a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate certification from the Florida DBRP in August 2021.
