Atul Kamboj

Atul Kamboj has extensive experience in data science and analysis, working in various roles and companies since 2010. Atul has served as a Data Scientist at Swinburne University of Technology, where they performed data mining and analysis and developed tools for selecting stress response genes. At the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, Atul developed and implemented statistical models and machine learning applications for analyzing large patient datasets. At IQVIA (IMS Health), they worked as a Data Scientist, utilizing machine learning and data mining techniques to infer marketing insights and forecast sales. At HCL Australia Services Pty Limited, Atul served as a Data Science Manager for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where they focused on using data visualization techniques to enhance data usability and accessibility for business banking and home loan departments. Most recently, they have held the position of Data Science Manager (Acting) at icare NSW. In the future, Atul will be joining Service NSW as a Principal Data Scientist.

Atul Kamboj earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Data Science and Bioinformatics from Swinburne University of Technology from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters of Biotechnology with a major in Bioinformatics from Swinburne University of Technology from 2008 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications in Alteryx Core Designer and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, both obtained in 2021.
