Savanna Blackburn

Savanna Blackburn is a Stormwater Compliance Specialist with the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, tasked with ensuring compliance with Erosion & Sediment Control and Stormwater Management Programs at the city, state, and federal levels since October 2023. Previously, Savanna worked as an Environmental Scientist and Biological Systems Engineering Field and Lab Aide at Virginia Tech from May 2023 to October 2023, focusing on the installation and maintenance of data collection systems for projects aimed at enhancing water quantity and quality in various watersheds. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Science at Virginia Tech, Savanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University.
