Ratul Ray

Ratul Ray is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in machine learning and AI. As a Senior Engineering Manager at ServiceNow since October 2025, Ratul focuses on Conversational AI. Previously, Ratul served as an Engineering Manager at Meta from January 2024 to September 2025, leading the development of the Agentic AI platform and managing ML engineering tasks for Instagram's Friend Recommendation system. Before that, Ratul held roles at Roku Inc. as Senior Engineering Manager overseeing machine learning initiatives and as ML Architect, where numerous innovative ML solutions were developed. Ratul's career began at Google, where foundational work was done on large-scale machine learning systems for app advertisements. Ratul holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science & Automation from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Jadavpur University.
