Vikas Jain

Vikas Jain is the Group COO at Servify. Vikas was previously the Group CFO at Al Ghurair from December 2017 to September 2019.

At Al Ghurair, Vikas led several initiatives to optimize the portfolio of businesses & territories, to improve business performance by setting appropriate KPIs, measurement and reward system, to enhance corporate governance, to streamline processes, to centrally manage group treasury function, to enhance automation, to drive cost efficiencies, to enhance shareholder value through Board representation for School, University and two JVs.

Some of their notable accomplishments include:

- Portfolio optimization (one acquisition, two divestments, one liquidation, and one turn-around).

- Raising several project finance facilities, trade finance facilities, renegotiating all banking facilities across the Group (multi-billion Dirhams).

- Implementing tighter credit control policies with trade credit insurance.

- Strict working capital and cash flow management led to annual recurring multi-million savings in interest.

- Enhanced compliance policies and process across the Group.

- Identifying appropriate KPIs for diverse businesses, setting targets, instituting performance dashboards, drove corrective actions through monthly review meetings to enhance business performance.

- Streamlining monthly, annual accounts closing and audit.

- Implementing top-down target setting, 3 years budget and planning process.

- Revising Delegation of Authority matrix to balance control with efficiency.

Vikas Jain is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Vikas is also a CFSGM from INSEAD and has completed the Future Leaders Program from Dubai Holding. Vikas is also a CPA from the AICPA and a CISA from ISACA. Vikas has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Rajasthan and has completed their high school in Accountancy from Saint Paul School, Kota. Vikas has also completed various technology courses in Java, Networking, Firewall, Net.Commerce and Oracle Financials implementation from APTECH Computer Education.
