John Carter III, MHRM, SHRM-CP has extensive work experience in human resources and management roles. John is currently the Human Resources Director at SERVPRO Team Wall since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Manager at SERVPRO Team Wall from October 2021 to January 2023. Before joining SERVPRO, John worked as the Employee and Labor Relations Manager at Caesars Entertainment, Inc. from April 2021 to September 2021.

John also has experience in the manufacturing industry, having worked as the Human Resources Manager at Intercontinental Export Import, Inc. from June 2019 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for implementing strategic practices and procedures for a multinational organization with over 350 employees and multiple manufacturing plants/warehouses across several states.

Prior to their role at Intercontinental Export Import, John worked at Capital One as a Unit Manager from October 2012 to December 2017. In this position, they led two departments and played a significant role in human resources implementation, strategy, and performance management programs.

Before transitioning to the private sector, John served in the United States Marine Corps from October 1996 to September 2002. During their time in the military, they worked as a Marine Security Guard and Motor Transport Operator, providing armed security for American embassies and holding a Top-Secret Security Clearance.

Additionally, John gained experience in human resources while working at Kmart as a Manager/Human Resources Specialist from August 2007 to October 2012.

John Carter III holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond.
