Ryan Salto, EIT

Ryan Salto, EIT has a diverse work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Ryan is currently working as an Assistant Project Engineer at SESI Consulting Engineers since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Geotechnical Staff Engineer at the same company from February 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining SESI Consulting Engineers, Ryan worked as a Geotechnical Intern at Mott MacDonald from May 2020 to February 2021. Their responsibilities included conducting soil borings, rock coring, and pile load tests, preparing reports and test schedules, and conducting various laboratory tests.

Ryan also gained experience in cost estimation and construction management through their roles as a Cost Estimator Intern and Construction Intern II at Gilbane Building Company. During their time there, they managed document flow, created tracking sheets, estimated scope of work, and reviewed subcontractor proposals.

Ryan started their career as a Site/Civil Intern at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in February 2019, where they gained experience in site design and civil engineering.

Ryan Salto, EIT has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bergen Community College between 2014 and 2017. In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained several certifications. These include the OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification from Safety Unlimited, Inc., obtained in May 2021. Ryan also completed the Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 Essential Training offered by LinkedIn in January 2021. Ryan obtained the Offshore Safety Induction And Emergency Training from ALL STOP! Survival & Safety Training in August 2020. Ryan also completed the NYS DEC Erosion and Sediment Control Training provided by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation in March 2021. Furthermore, Ryan earned the Nuclear Gauge Safety & US DOT Hazmat certification from APNGA in February 2021. Finally, in August 2019, they obtained a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) from the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.
