Shawn Breaux

Shawn Breaux has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Shawn started their career as a Systems Analyst at Louisiana State University in 2000 before moving on to work as a Software Developer at Public Systems Associates in 2001. At Public Systems Associates, Breaux managed a team of developers and was involved in designing and developing a legislative tracking system.

In 2005, they joined High Power Consulting, Inc. where they served as a Senior Software Developer and Project Manager. Shawn led a team of developers and delivered .NET web-based solutions to various customers. During this time, they also managed a project to create an intranet application that improved file accessibility.

Breaux then joined ABB in 2009 and held multiple roles within the company. As an IT Manager, they demonstrated a sound working knowledge of business practices and managed relationships with IT service providers. Shawn also executed disaster recovery efforts after a flood in the factory, ensured quality IS and IT experience for employees, and coordinated IT system installations.

Shawn took on additional responsibilities as a Senior Business Analyst, where they transformed the factory from a paper-based system to an all-digital one using SAP Document Management System. Shawn gathered requirements, selected third-party vendors, and created reports and summaries from SAP ERP system. As an IS Project Manager, Breaux showcased their stakeholder management skills and oversaw various projects, including the transfer of SAP Master Data and the implementation of SAP Document Management System.

In 2017, Breaux joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana as a Principal System Analyst. In this role, they liaised between stakeholders to ensure project awareness and performed business analysis. Shawn also investigated new business and technical ideas, problems, and opportunities.

Most recently, Breaux joined Setpoint Integrated Solutions, Inc. in 2018 as the Director of Information Technology. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Information Technology at PVI Holdings, Inc., a role they assumed in 2023.

Shawn Breaux obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University, which they attended from 1997 to 2000. Before that, from 1993 to 1996, they attended Nicholls State University, but did not obtain a degree. Prior to their college education, there is no available information about Shawn's schooling.
