Steven McCord

Steven McCord is a mechanical engineer who currently works as a Level II mechanical engineer at Setty & Associates. Steven previously worked as a mechanical engineer at GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. from July 2018 to April 2021. Prior to that, they were an international volunteer with Habitat for Humanity from January 2018 to April 2018. Steven has also interned with Lockheed Martin as a technical specialist intern with Lockheed Martin Energy from June 2017 to December 2017. In addition, they have interned with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company as a general contracting intern from June 2015 to August 2015 and with Havtech as an application engineer intern from June 2016 to August 2016 and from June 2014 to August 2014. Steven is also a former chapter president of Zeta Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Steven McCord has an engineer's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, as well as a degree in industrial engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Steven also attended Georgetown Preparatory School. Steven has certification from the US Green Building Council - Coachella Valley Branch in LEED AP Building Design & Construction (BD+C), and is also certified by NCEES in Engineer In Training. Additionally, they have certification from OSHA-Training.com in OSHA 10-HR Safety Course, and is IMPACT Leadership Trained through IMPACT SLC.

Their manager is William Bernard, Associate Director of Building Sciences. They are on a team with Thomas Boyer - Associate Director of Building Sciences, Gopal Lalwani - Commissioning Engineer - Level I, and Enrique Garcia - Commissioning Engineer - Level I.
