Seurat Technologies
Susanne Kras has a strong background in optical engineering and has worked for various companies throughout their career. Susanne started their career at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where they worked as an Assistant Technical Staff and was involved in constructing optical tools for laboratory use. Susanne then moved on to Summit Technology, where they worked as an Optical Engineer, evaluating and analyzing optics that did not meet specifications and troubleshooting optic problems. Afterwards, they joined ECRM Imaging Systems as a Principal Optical Engineer, where they designed, toleranced, assembled, and tested optics for various platesetters. At Lightchip Optical Networking, they modeled Gaussian beam propagation, performed tolerancing of optical systems, and constructed an interferometer for measuring optical system quality. Susanne then joined Visidyne, Inc as a Senior Scientist, where they performed data analysis and image processing and expanded IDL GUI for data visualization. Susanne'smost recent role was at Rockwell Automation, where they worked as a Project Engineer in Optics. Currently, they are working at Seurat Technologies as a Principal Optical Engineer.
Susanne Kras has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Susanne also holds a Master of Science degree in Electro-Optics from Tufts University. The specific dates of their education and any additional degrees or fields of study are not provided.
