Chief Power Engineer at Seven Generations Energy Ltd

Vernon Bonwick has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Vernon began their career as a Gas Plant Operator at Seven Generations Energy Ltd. in 2015, where they were responsible for maintaining a safe facility and conducting necessary procedures prior to commissioning. In 2016, they took on the role of Lead Operator, overseeing the safe operation of the Cutbank and Gold Creek plants and helping commission the Gold Creek Facility. In 2019, they were promoted to Chief Steam at ARC Resources Ltd., where they are responsible for ensuring the safe operation of pressure equipment and implementing procedures and standards aligned with ABSA requirements. Throughout their career, Vernon has consistently demonstrated a commitment to safety and effective operations.

Vernon Bonwick is currently pursuing a 2nd Class Power Engineer qualification from the Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA), with an expected completion date beyond 2021. Prior to this, Vernon had achieved a 3rd Class Power Engineer qualification from the same institution, ABSA. Additionally, Vernon had also attended Vancouver Island University, where they pursued studies in the field of Science.
