William Thornton-Reid

Will joined 7IM in August 2019 as Interim Chief Technology Officer and has responsibility for information technology across all of 7IM’s businesses.

Will has a career background in IT and was previously Chief Information Officer at MetLife UK & Ireland covering the Wealth Management and Insurance businesses, where he delivered complex iCCPI investment platforms. Will has also headed up technology and systems in roles at MoneySupermarket.com, Telewest, N.Brown, and Thomas Cook.

He has won awards for wealth management platforms and technology innovation. Working in Asia and Australasia Will has significant international experience and has worked on a number of strategic M&A.
