Joana Duarte

Joana Duarte is an accomplished Physics and Computer Vision Engineer with extensive experience in developing algorithms and deep learning solutions for embedded systems, particularly in areas such as augmented reality and eye-tracking at 7 Sensing Software. Joana has also served as a Computer Vision Engineer at Parrot - Titan Engineering, focusing on 3D estimation and quality assessment in drone vision systems. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Physics from Université Paris-Saclay and participation in international conferences where Joana presented research on synthetic data generation, X-ray imaging, and coherent imaging techniques. Joana has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills through participation in the iLLP@Tecnico program, as well as early career experiences in consulting and research roles at reputable institutions.
