Scott Carter

Scott Carter is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing and leading software solutions across various companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at SEVENROOMS since April 2023, Scott previously held similar positions at Rivian and Okta, where Scott led the development of Golang web services and Python microservices, respectively. Notable accomplishments include migrating applications to GitOps-style deployments at Rivian and managing a large testing load at Okta. In past roles, Scott has also excelled as a DevOps Architect at Lovevery and VisitPay, implementing automated deployment solutions and secure software platforms. With experience dating back to 2003, Scott has contributed to the growth and scalability of several organizations, including significant contributions at Scentsy, Inc. and Hewlett-Packard. Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Idaho.
