Ceara Labat

Ceara Labat is an experienced professional with a strong background in event coordination and community outreach. Currently serving as a Community Outreach Specialist at the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans since October 2022, Ceara previously held roles such as Event Coordinator and Exhibit Services Coordinator at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, where responsibilities included managing conference logistics and client relations, as well as overseeing emergency operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Ceara has worked as a Customer Communications Specialist at Peoples Health, a Public Relations Intern at the Essence Music Festival, and a Festival Operations Production Assistant at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, Inc. with a focus on operational planning and client services. Ceara holds a Master’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, both from the University of New Orleans.
