Inês P. Melo

Inês P. Melo is a skilled filmmaker and video editor with diverse experience in the film and media industry. Currently serving as Filmmaker In Residence at SFFILM since January 2022, Inês previously worked as a video editor for OMGYes.com, focusing on sexual health and wellness education. Inês has held roles at Stanford University as a video editor for both the Camera As Witness Program and as a teaching assistant for the Arts Intensive Summer Program. Additionally, Inês has experience as a production assistant for the United Nations Association Film Festival and as an audiovisual content producer for Uma Pedra no Sapato | Vende-se Filmes. Inês’s earlier roles included a data analyst at Accenture Portugal and an archivist and video production intern at Câmara Municipal de Lisboa. Educationally, Inês holds an MFA in Documentary Film and Video Production from Stanford University and a Master’s degree in Anthropology with a focus on Visual Cultures from NOVA FCSH.
