Ellen Mckinstry

Ellen McKinstry currently serves as the Interim Director of Development and previously held the position of Associate Director, Individual Giving at SFJAZZ since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles at the San Francisco Ballet as the Senior Manager of Individual Giving and Donor Relations Manager from April 2021 to June 2023, and at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, where Ellen worked as Donor Relations Coordinator and Development Associate, Donor Relations from April 2017 to April 2021. Ellen's career also includes experience at SFMOMA as a Visitor Experience Associate and an Administrative Assistant in PR and Marketing at Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Additionally, Ellen interned at Presidio Trust and served in various capacities at Carleton College, including Humanities Center Publicity Assistant and Office Assistant in the History Department. Ellen earned a Bachelor of Arts in European History from Carleton College in 2014.
