Kiran Bala

Kiran Bala is the Chief People Officer at SG Analytics. Kiran has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and has held various leadership positions in Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Organizational Development.

Kiran started their career with Schaeffler in May 2014 as Head of Talent Management & Organization Development. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies that aligned with the business goals of the company. Kiran also led the organization development team in designing and piloting a new performance management process, as well as revamping and benchmarking all HR policies.

In August 2016, Kiran moved to Persistent Systems as Head of People & Organization Performance. In this role, they were responsible for leading the High Potential Development program and conducting role value analysis for all roles within the organization. Under their leadership, the team successfully revamped the HR policies and procedures to align with the company’s changing needs.

In November 2017, Kiran joined SKF India as Head of Talent Management. In this role, they were responsible for leading the talent strategy, learning, and leadership development initiatives for SKF India. Kiran also worked closely with the Global HR team in Sweden and the Regional HQ in Asia to align the talent management practices with the global SKF standards.

In April 2020, Kiran left SKF India to join Moonshots as a Partner. In this role, they provided leadership, talent, and change consulting services to clients with a focus on driving disruptive practices in the talent management space.

Kiran joined UST BlueConch Technologies in October 2020 as Senior Director & Head of Human Resources. In this role, they are responsible for leading the HR function and driving initiatives that support the company’s business goals.

Kiran Bala has a PGPMS/MBA from K J Somaiya Institute of Management, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management / Emotional Intelligence from Punjabi University, and is an IHHP Accredited EQ Trainer from the Institute of Health & Human Potential. Kiran is also a Certified EQ Coach from Emotional Intelligence Coach and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Panjab University. Kiran also has certification from Susan Dunn in Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and Profilingvalues in Profiling Values Certified Partner. In addition, they have a Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) certification from Yoga Alliance and a The Materiality of ESG Factors certification from Wharton Online.

Kiran Bala reports to Sid Banerjee, Chief Executive Officer. Kiran Bala works with Jayaprakash Mallikarjuna - SVP, Client Services, Biswanath Choudhary - Chief Operating Officer, and Vineet Agrawal - Partner.
