Joanna Płonka

Joanna P. has extensive experience in editorial roles, currently serving as a leading editor at Wydawnictwo WAM since January 2022, where responsibilities include managing publishing projects, editing texts, creating promotional content, initiating new titles, and collaborating with authors and designers. Prior to this, Joanna worked as an editor at Księgarnia św. Jacka from November 2019 to December 2021, focusing on substantive editing and leading book projects. Joanna also held the position of substantive editor at Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego from November 2018 to 2021, specializing in scholarly publications and collaborating with academic authors. Earlier, Joanna gained teaching experience as an active non-staff member at Uniwersytet Śląski in Katowicach from October 2012 to June 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Theology from the University of Silesia in Katowice, obtained between 2014 and 2017, and a Master's degree in Theology from the same institution, completed in 2012.
