Nigel Ball

Nigel Ball has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Nigel is currently working as a Lead IMS Auditor at SGS, where they ensure compliance to ISO standards and legislation in the Wales & South West region. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director at Savills. Before that, Nigel held the position of Lead IMS Auditor at SGS, covering the Wales & West region. Nigel also worked as a Senior SHEQ Auditor at SUEZ and as a QHSE Systems Auditor at Veolia UK. In addition, they have experience as a Project Manager/QHSE Manager at Aspire Defence Services Ltd, Principal Health & Safety Consultant/Health & Safety Manager at Scott Wilson, and Senior Electrical Engineer at Gifford & Partners, Scott Wilson, and BPA Consulting Engineers.

Nigel Ball has a diverse education history. Nigel obtained a NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 from Poole College and a NEBOSH Certificate from Eastleigh College. Nigel also completed a BTEC HNC Building Engineering Services (Electrical) from South Thames College. Nigel further pursued a BTEC HNC Building Engineering Services (Electrical)/NEBOSH Dip from South Thames College between 1978 and 1982. In recent years, they obtained a NEBOSH Enivironmental Certificate from NEBOSH in 2013. Additionally, Nigel has completed various courses, including OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor from BSI in 2007, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor from BSI in 2006, and ISO14001 Lead Auditor from BSI in 2004.
