Carlos Domínguez

Carlos Domínguez has a strong background in finance and analytics, with experience in various roles and industries. Carlos started their career as an intern at COOMEVA, where they gained experience in investment portfolio management and back-office activities. Carlos then worked as a Credit Analyst at Banco de Occidente, appraising credit applications and approving loans. Carlos then moved to the International Institute for Sustainable Development, where they worked as a Consultant in Sustainable Finance, supporting the implementation of projects promoting sustainable and ESG finance products. Carlos later joined Synpulse Management Consulting as a Consultant in Private Banking, where they supported the implementation of transformation projects in digitalization and new regulatory requirements. Carlos then worked at ITG as a Quantitative Analyst in Electronic Trading Analytics. In their role at Virtu Financial, they worked in Trading Analytics, helping clients reduce trading costs and generate alpha using big data. Currently, Carlos is working at SGX Group as the Vice President in Securities Trading. Throughout their career, Carlos has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, project management, and business development.

Carlos Domínguez earned a B.S. in Economics and International Business from Universidad ICESI from 2006 to 2011. Carlos also completed an MSc. in International Banking and Finance from Lingnan University from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Delf Niveau B1 from the Commission Nationale du Delf et du Dalf in 2011.
