Reza Derakhshani

Reza Derakhshani has extensive experience in academia and environmental management, currently serving as a Researcher at Utrecht University since October 2018. Prior roles include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman since 2005, and General Manager at the Department of Environment of Kerman Province from 2005 to 2007. Between 2000 and 2005, Reza served as Chief Advisor to the CEO at the Sistan and Baluchestan Regional Water Authority. Reza holds a PhD in Geology/Earth Science with a focus on Tectonics from Shiraz University, completed in 2005, along with an MSc in the same field obtained in 1999, and a BSc from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman earned in 1996.
