In these roles, Evan was responsible for overseeing the strategy, planning, and execution of finished goods distribution, managing the distribution budget, planning and distributing new product introductions and market entries, and guiding technological transformations in forecasting and optimization modeling. Evan M. started their education at San Jose State University in 2005 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Finance in 2010. Evan then pursued further education at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Operations, Strategy, and Innovation. Evan attended Georgia Tech from 2018 to 2021. In addition to their degrees, Evan also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, which they obtained from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business in December 2020, and a Supply Chain Management Certificate, which they obtained from the Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2017.

The company supports sustainable farming andregenerative agriculture and can be found in major retailers across Hawaiʻi, the continental US, and on Amazon. Launched in 2016 by kamaʻāina Bella Hughes, who was born and raised in Honolulu and her husband Harrison Rice, Shaka Tea was founded out of the desire to honor Hawai’i by offering an authentically Hawaiian and healthy product through the māmaki teas, all coming from recipes that originated right out of the kitchen.
