Peter Kayaian

Peter Kayaian is currently the Culinary & Product Development Manager for Global Licensing - EMEA at Shake Shack, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Peter served as Culinary Operations Lead at sweetgreen from January 2019 to April 2023. Peter's experience also includes working at Momofuku from October 2013 to January 2019 as Product Development and Innovation Manager, where key contributions included managing the production of Ssam Sauce and collaborating with Kraft-Heinz on its reformulation. Previous roles span various positions at culinary establishments such as Maysville NYC and Gramercy Tavern, in addition to freelance writing for Time Inc.'s Extra Crispy. Peter holds degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Science from The Culinary Institute of America, completed between 2011 and 2014.
