Catherine Marquez

Catherine Marquez is a Research PhD Student at Shanghai University since August 2023 and a Visiting Professor at Dalian University of Foreign Languages since December 2018, specializing in international business and management with a focus on the Belt and Road program and its impact on Latin America. Catherine previously served as the Director of the Confucius Institute at Universidad EAFIT in Medellin and held positions as Associate Professor of Management and Administrative Assistant Coordinator. In addition, Catherine was the General Coordinator of EnCicla, Medellin's first bicycle sharing system, and worked as a markets' access assistant at Inexmoda. Catherine's education includes an LLM in International Relations from Xiamen University and a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Universidad EAFIT, along with various diplomas in Chinese studies and contemporary China.
