Samuel Lim

Samuel Lim is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry with extensive experience in business development and hotel management. Currently serving as Global Business Development at Shangri-La Group since August 2023, Samuel oversees the global expansion of various hotel brands including Shangri-La and Jen. Prior to this role, Samuel held the position of Group General Manager (Hotels) at GuocoLand Group from December 2019 to December 2022, representing the Group’s interests in both self-managed and third-party managed hotels. Samuel's prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Caesars Entertainment Corporation as Vice President of Hotel Development for Asia Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group as Vice President of Development in China, and Capella Hotel Group as Vice President of Business Development. Early in their career, Samuel managed valuation and advisory services at HVS. Samuel Lim holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore.
