Jaden Choi, PE, LEED AP

Jaden Choi, PE, LEED AP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jaden is currently serving as the Director of Operational Controls at Shangri-La Construction since February 2023. Prior to this, Jaden held key positions at Webcor, including Director of Project Controls from December 2021 to December 2022, and Senior Project Manager of Project Controls from January 2018 to December 2021.

In addition to their roles at Webcor, Jaden also worked at CRB Consulting Engineers as a Project Controls specialist from December 2011 to January 2018. At Sempra Energy, they served as a Senior Project Controls professional, providing critical support to the PSEP Project Management Organization (PMO) from March 2015 to October 2016.

Earlier in their career, Jaden worked as a Project Engineer at S.J. Amoroso Construction from June 2007 to December 2011. Jaden was responsible for various aspects of construction planning, trade coordination, quality control, progress payments, and site logistics. Before that, they were a Project Manager at DATAPCS from June 2002 to January 2006.

Jaden's career began at Jungwon Construction, where they served as a Project Engineer from July 1999 to October 2000. Prior to entering the private sector, they also gained valuable experience as an Engineering Officer in the Korea Army Corps of Engineers from March 1997 to June 1999.

Throughout their career, Jaden has demonstrated expertise in project controls, operational management, scheduling, cost control, change management, risk identification and mitigation, and various aspects of construction planning. Their technical skills include structural shop drawings and calculations review, trade coordination, material acquisitions, quality control, estimating, and obtaining public entity permits. Jaden has also been involved in sustainable construction practices, holding a LEED AP certification.

Jaden Choi, PE, LEED AP obtained a Masters degree in Construction Management from the University of Southern California from 2006 to 2007.
