Darlene Vitorino

Darlene Vitorino has extensive work experience in human resources and recruitment. Darlene currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Shape Process Automation, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this role, they were a Regional Human Resource Business Partner at Shape Process Automation (formerly Tech-Con Automation) from April 2017 to December 2020. In this role, they built relationships with managers and senior leaders, supported organizational strategies, and provided hands-on support to employees and managers.

Before joining Shape Process Automation, Darlene worked at Tech-Con Automation as a Human Resource Manager from February 2011 to March 2017. In this position, they managed all aspects of the Human Resource Department, including compensation, benefits, health and safety, and employee training and development. Darlene also assisted department managers in personnel matters and ensured compliance with HR regulations and policies.

Prior to their time at Tech-Con Automation, Darlene worked as a Contract and Search Professional at Express Employment Professionals, where they conducted full cycle recruitment for engineering and finance positions. Darlene utilized traditional and non-traditional methods of recruitment and made sales calls to prospective clients.

Darlene's earlier work experience includes roles as a Transportation Compliance Specialist at Wolseley Canada and a National Recruitment Manager at Wolseley Canada. Darlene also worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at ATS Reliance.

Darlene Vitorino completed their education at Mohawk College, where they obtained a Law Clerk degree from 1990 to 1992. Darlene later pursued further education and earned a Human Resources Certificate from Mohawk College between 2011 and 2015, focusing on the field of Human Resources.
