Benjamin Theunissen has a diverse work experience. In 2015, they were a Student Ambassador at Google, where they worked to promote the Google brand on campus at the University of Adelaide. Benjamin also served as a Practical Supervisor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Adelaide in 2016, where they taught and assisted students in the classes of Introduction to Programming and Introduction to Programming for Engineers. In 2017, they began working at REA Group as a Software Developer - Data Services, where they worked to transform the way that REA Group leveraged their comprehensive suite of property data. Benjamin then moved to N26 in 2019, where they worked as both a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer. In 2020, they began working at Apple as a Software Engineer for Apple Pay. Currently, they are a Founding Engineer at Shaped, where they are helping businesses create highly engaging, personalized user experiences.

Benjamin Theunissen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Adelaide between 2014 and 2016. In 2016, they attended a Study Tour in Artificial Intelligence at the Harbin Institute of Technology. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Introduction to Machine Learning from Coursera and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera.
