Matt Valentino

Matt Valentino is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in talent acquisition and organizational development. Currently serving as Chief People Officer at Shape Therapeutics Inc., Matt also holds advisory board positions at Taltrics, Human Capital, and Grayscale. Prior roles include Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at DoorDash, and Head of Talent Acquisition at Calico Life Sciences, where responsibilities encompassed talent, diversity, equity, inclusion, and human resources for research and development. Matt's earlier career involved senior roles at Pandora, Validant, and BioSearch Recruiting, specializing in recruitment for the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and has further academic experience at Monash University.
