Joliesha Khan

Joliesha Khan is an experienced professional specializing in community engagement and events, currently serving in the Community & Events department at Sharebird since September 2020, where the focus is on peer-driven job knowledge. In September 2024, Joliesha will begin a role as Marketing and Events Coordinator at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, aimed at developing future business leaders. Previously, Joliesha managed high-profile events for elite clients as a Special Event Manager at FABULOUS CATERING LLC from November 2017 to April 2020, contributing to a women-owned catering initiative. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Blue Plate Restaurant Company from July 2011 to June 2017, where extensive skills in hospitality were developed while supporting personal goals of travel and homeownership. Joliesha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Portuguese Studies, with a minor in Chicano Studies from the University of Minnesota, completed between 2011 and 2013.
